Sharkwater is a 134-foot vessel that was originally built in Japan and used by Japanese fisheries but now has been repurposed for the good of our oceans through the marine research and conservation mission of Fins Attached.

Sharkwater can be a host to many different professions within the field. Scientists, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), marine science students, and documentary crews can have the opportunity to conduct fieldwork, and to achieve their objectives.

Originally commissioned as  “Senshu Maru”, M/Y Sharkwater is an outstanding conversion vessel based on a late model (1997) Japanese research vessel built to military standards and class. She is extremely seaworthy having been created to operate in all conditions.

She was converted to a luxury yacht in 2012 with metal work being done in Japan with interior finishing done in the Philippines. She has a modern white interior style with all guest cabins located on the main deck master stateroom separate on the pilothouse deck.
